Family Session $500  $250 (until Jan. 31, 2012, session can take place anytime in 2012)

My goal for a family session is to create a unique custom gallery for years of memories and smiles!  Each family session will be given a theme, personal styling tips, and up to 2 hours on location photography.  Family sessions include up to four family members, additional family members are $25 each.

I will discuss a checklist with you ahead of time as we build your custom concept session.

Child Session    $400  $200 (until Jan. 31, 2012, session can take place anytime in 2012)

My Favorite age to photograph is when they are sitting, but not yet crawling, usually between 6-8 months.  Getting happy, smiley faces and REAL genuine laughs at this stage is so fun!  I love to accessorize, so while you can bring any hats or clothing you wish to shoot, I will also discuss options before your session that I would recommend.

My second favorite is ONE YEAR OLDS!  While they offer more challenges, as now they can run and scramble, their little personality really shines through.  I also recommend bringing a small cake so at the very end of the session we can grab a few cake smash shots.

Baby Checklist

  • a couple of cute outfits
  • cupcakes or a birthday cake for one year olds
  • any cute hats or accessories you have
  • for boys bring a few pairs of pants/shorts (jeans, casual khakis, etc)
  • a snack and a drink (sometimes they just need a little break to keep going)
  • a favorite toy from home that makes them happy (sometimes they need something familiar to smile at)
  • a favorite book/blanket/stuffed animal

Older Children are so exciting because I can really plan and create a story with you.  We will discuss this prior to your session and create a custom theme for your child.

To add siblings to this shoot it is $25 extra per child.

Cake Smash $300  150  (until Jan. 31, 2012, session can take place anytime in 2012)

Cake Smash Sessions are scheduled approximately 4 to 6 weeks before the child birthday! (or anytime you wish, they are simple fun, why limit to a birthday?)

Cake Smash Sessions will include 1 hour in studio and all edited images (approx 20-40) on a custom DVD with printing rights, a spiral bound 5*7 proof book of 20 photographer picked shots, and an 8*8 mounted story board of the session!

Cake Smash Checklist

  • Pre-Cake Smash outfit (we will get a few shots of a clean baby!)
  • Cake Smash Outfit (or I can provide a pair of bloomers and a matching tie/headband
I LOVE jeans and no shirt for boys and a nice clean light colored onsie for girls, keep it simple!
  • Post Cake Smash outfit (for the drive home)
  • Extra clothes for MOM/DAD!  Yes, most likely you WILL get some icing/cake on your clothing.  If you prefer not to get messy let me know and I will provide an assistant.  No worries, she won’t mind! :)
  • CAKE!  I no longer provide the cake.  I can give suggestions on where to purchase a cake, however due to allergies I prefer you purchase the cake so you 100% know the ingredients.  The cake can be a small 6 inch round cake from Walmart or Publix.  Small cakes photograph well they do not overwhelm the child.  The main focus will STILL be your child, with a cake, not a huge elaborate cake with a child somewhere in the photo :).
  • WHITE OR VANILLA CAKE!  NO chocolate! Chocolate is oh so yummy but it does NOT photograph well.  Trust me on this.  It turns a cute “ohhh there is cake all over little Johnie’s face” into a “what is on his face? in his hand?  is that ?????”

Newborn Session $600  $300  (until Jan. 31, 2012, session can take place anytime in 2012)

WHEN TO SCHEDULE:
The best time to book your newborn session is before you’ve had your baby usually between months 5 and 7 of your pregnancy.  This will ensure that I get you added to my calendar and am available when you deliver.  I will add you to my schedule when your due date is expected.  The 5 to 8 day old range is optimal time for newborn images.  The first week works best to get those adorable peaceful sleepy and very curly poses.  After two weeks of age, they are more likely to be disturbed while sleeping, and can also become colicky or baby acne can start to flare.

 WHAT TO BRING:

  • lots of diapers and wipes
  • extra blankets
  • a binky (this is very helpful if they take one)
  • a bottle with breast milk or formula (this saves a ton of time if we can just feed them the bottle instead of nursing)
  • a black long sleeve shirt for mom or dad

**A change of clothing for mom and dad.  We have the very good possibility of getting wet (or worse)****

 PREPARING YOUR NEWBORN:

When dressing your newborn to come to the studio, please dress them lightly,  in a onesie, so that we don’t have to disturb them too much when taking them out of the carseat.

Please do not stress about them peeing (or worse). It will happen. It will not be the first time, or the last.  I will wash it. It’s not a big deal; I’m very used to it. If it bothered me, I would not love photographing newborns.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING YOUR SESSION:

My newborn sessions do take a long time – upwards of 3 hours.  I spend quite a bit of time getting fingers and toes positioned just right and ensuring your baby is comfortable at all times, looking peaceful and cozy.  I will not put your baby in any unsafe pose or position.

I will have my heat up to as high as 85 degrees, so dressing in layers is your best bet as it will get toasty in the studio.  In order to keep baby nice and warm, I will also have a small space heater on.  This also provides white noise to block out background sounds.    Not to worry though – talking is allowed however, it is best to keep company away during your session to keep the atmosphere as calm as possible.  Once your session begins, I encourage you to sit back and relax.  I will be taking over once the session begins.  If baby is bottle feeding or you can express breast milk if not opposed, I will feed your baby.  Why?  If baby smells mom they will automatically wake to feed, which is perfectly fine, but we want to keep baby as calm as possible.  Also a pacifier is a great way to calm baby so if your baby takes one, be sure to have it nearby.

AFTER THE SESSION:

Shortly after your session, I will prepare a few watermarked images for a sneak peek on my CrystalBelle Photography facebook page and blog for you to see and to share with family and friends.  You may tag your images but in no way crop or alter them.  Approximately 3-4 weeks after your session I will have approximately 10-15 images prepared in a password protected on-line gallery.

Please note that not all poses captured during your baby’s session will be available.  Due to my high quality of expectations I may elect to eliminate a pose if it was not captured perfectly.   Once payment is made, please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of your prints.  Cash or Checks and paypal are accepted for payment.  Orders will NOT be placed until payment is received in full.  All images will remain on file for one year should you desire any additional prints at a later date.  I highly recommend that you back up your digital files as soon as you receive them.

Please allow 3-4 weeks for your CD to be ready.

**$200 retainer must be received within a week of booking to hold your scheduled date and time.  If payment is not received in this time, I reserve the right to offer your time slot to another client.  Remaining balance is due 24 hours before  your session.  Retainer is NON-REFUNDABLE.**

**Prices are subject to change at any time.  Receipt of your retainer will lock in prices at the time payment is received.  Any future orders are subject to current pricing.**

**All orders are subject to 7.5% Florida state sales tax.**

**Due to the personalized nature of these products, all sales are final.**
